Introduction

ORGANIZATION OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION IN THE UNIVERSITY OF "KYIV-MOHYLA ACADEMY"

General Purpose: to build a new modern environmental education in Ukraine on the base of the University of "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy" with special emphases on Environmental Policy, Environmental Economics, Environmental Management and Chornobyl accident.

Purposes of this project are:

to train the experts able to work effectively and fruitfully in government and international structures, state and private sectors of economy, to occupy deserving positions in non-government, public associations, scientific and higher educational institutions;
to invite world-known advisors and teachers;
to study advanced experience in organizing environmental education;
to build scientific-teaching institute in Chornobyl polygon;
to develop teaching capacity for environmental economics and environmental policy.
