All research conducted by NaUKMA faculty and students is part of an integrated academic system designed to address contemporary problems in the humanitarian, social and scientific spheres. Research in each of these spheres is guided by the general concept “Ukraine: The Individual, Society, and Nature.” Within this system, the School of Law contributes to the overall variety of NaUKMA research by focusing on the following areas:

• The Rule of Law;
• Theory and Practice of Lawmaking;
• Problems in Civil Law and Corporate Law of Ukraine;
• Harmonizing Ukrainian Legislation with Legislation in Countries of the European Union;
• Methodologies in Legal Education and in the Training of Professional Jurists.
